While the journal has a specific focus on the African continent covering all 54 countries and all regional economic communities (AU, ECOWAS, SADC, EAC, COMESA, CENSAD, IGAD, AMU) comparative studies that situate Africa within the broader Global South, or that apply global theories to African contexts, are equally welcome.
1.6 Publication Frequency
AJAEB is published continuously. Special thematic issues and supplement volumes may be published at the discretion of the Editor-in-Chief.
1.7 Language of Publication
The primary language of publication is English. Submissions in French or Portuguese will be considered for review, with the condition that final accepted manuscripts be professionally translated into English prior to publication. Authors are responsible for translation costs unless otherwise arranged with the editorial office.
